It's just after 10 on a busy Wednesday morning at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, and [SSO member] James Weese is ready for his close-up.

The medical director for the hospital's Cancer Institute swaps his suit jacket for his doctor's coat and waits for videographer Peggy Mishos-Gibbons to adjust the blinds in his office and the lens on her camera.

Weese waits for the high sign and then launches, quite seamlessly, into what will be the first of three videos, each of which will be directed at a different audience.

"It's easy to deliver a message when you have a good message to deliver," says Weese, attributing his comfort in front of the lens to his experience as a professor of surgery.

Afterward, Weese said he wasn't nervous a bit during the filming. At one point into his third video, however, when he began to trip over his words, he joked, "Sometimes it's easier to take out a pancreas."
