Dear ISNS 2020 Faculty, Supporters, and Attendees,
It is with great disappointment that ISNS 2020, scheduled for May 14 – 16, 2020 in Houston, TX, is cancelled due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19, the current travel bans, and the uncertainty around when they will be lifted. ISNS and SSO came to this decision after carefully reviewing data about the proliferation of the virus and recognizing the responsibility to protect the health and well-being of attendees, their patients and their families.
ISNS and SSO recognizes the significant time and effort that has been dedicated to writing abstracts, preparing presentations and making travel plans and gratefully thanks those contributors for supporting the program.
In the coming weeks, SSO will be providing a full refund of registration fees back to the original method of payment. In addition, the Hyatt Regency Houston has adjusted their cancellation policy and any existing reservation booked on April 1 or prior may be cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before arrival. To cancel your Hyatt Regency Houston reservation, please contact the hotel directly at 877-803-7534. Additional questions may be directed to SSO Education at speakers@surgonc.org.
