2024 Breast Fellowships Interview Calendar
Please pay close attention to the format of each interview and the date(s) available for each program.

The Society of Surgical Oncology reviews and approves breast oncology fellowship training programs yearly, and accepts new PID applications up to February 15 of each year. As of December 16, 2019, the fee for processing applications for programs seeking initial approval will be a non-refundable $2,000 fee and an invoice will be generated and sent once the PID is received by the SSO. The PID will not be reviewed until the application fee has been paid.
Please be aware that this fee is not the site visit and annual program fee. This is a secondary fee that will be assessed at time of program approval and site visit.

Once the PID is complete, please email it to fellowship@surgonc.org. You will receive an email confirmation within 2-3 business days.

Breast Fellowship applicants can view the 2024 Breast Match Interview Calendar to see when programs will be conducting their interviews as part of the 2024 Match process. Interviews will take place between February 29 and June 29, 2024.
Prospective applicants should be aware that programs will be conducting interviews either in-person or virtually as noted on the 2024 Breast Match Interview Calendar.
Please note that some programs may conduct interviews on only one date, whereas others may offer multiple dates for interviews.
As per the approved Match Timeline, programs must wait until February 5, 2024, to notify any candidates they wish to interview. Interviews may be conducted either in-person or virtually in 2024.

The SSO continues to provide oversight of the Breast Oncology Fellowship Programs; however, the case op log database is managed by the ACGME. The migration from the previous case op log to the new database has been completed by ACGME. All program directors, coordinators and fellows have been emailed with their new ID and password. If there are any questions related to the case log system, please contact the ACGME support center at ADS@acgme.org.
