SSO Has Begun a Search to Identify an Editor in Chief For a New Open Access Journal

Apply to Be the Editor in Chief of SSO’s New Open Access Journal. SSO has begun a search process to identify an Editor in Chief for a new open access journal that will formally launch in March 2023. The new open access journal will be an official journal of the Society of Surgical Oncology and is designed to promote innovative findings in surgical cancer care by communicating advances in research and education. It will also serve as a companion journal to Annals of Surgical Oncology (ASO) by publishing additional articles with a clinical focus.

This is a tremendous opportunity to build a new and impactful clinical resource to further advancements in surgical oncology. The SSO Publication Committee will oversee the recruitment and screening process. The Editor Search Resource Document details the qualifications and responsibilities of the position.
