This educational review series presents an overview of recent developments that impact the use of immunotherapy in the surgical oncology care of patients with advanced cancer. The activity begins with a video introduction by Educational Review Series Editor, Charles M. Balch, MD. The series will review the steps for implementing a program and standard operating procedures for T-VEC therapy. Biomarkers for selecting patients and interpreting results of immunotherapy, as well as surgical management of complications of immunotherapy will be reviewed.
