The Society of Surgical Oncology supports cancer research and promotes opportunities for the development and success of surgeon scientists. As a member of the next generation of translational surgeon-scientists, in the Surgical Oncologists as Scientists (SOAS) Training Program you will undergo rigorous training in:
- The tumor microenvironment
- Techniques of biobanking
- Innovation and entrepreneurship
Eligibility Requirements:
- Have a strong interest in a career in academic surgical oncology;
- Be a categorical surgical resident in an accredited surgical residency;
- Be a US citizen or have permanent resident status.
This opportunity is located in San Diego, CA at the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center.
